Do I have to use a dentist who is participating in the MetLife Dental Preferred Provider network?
No, you are not required to use a preferred dentist. If you choose to use a dentist who does not participate in the MetLife Dental Preferred Provider Network there is no penalty; however, you will not receive the benefit of the network discounts. Can I elect the Dental Plan if I am not in the CITGO Medical Plan?
Yes, the dental plan is separate from the Medical Plan.
Is there a Dental identification card?
MetLife does not issue ID cards. Simply advise your dentist your coverage is administered through MetLife and provide your social security number. Dental providers verify coverage using a MetLife provider portal.
What should I think about when making my dental elections?
As you are considering your options, you might want to think about the following:

What is the difference between the basic and plus options?
The dental plus plan has some enhanced coverage available. Coverage for implants and orthodontic services (child and adult) is offered under the dental plus plan. Also, the plus option offers a higher annual maximum ($3000.00 in-network, $1500.00 out-of-network) than the basic option ($1500.00 in/out network).
Are crowns covered under Dental?
Major services under the Basic offer 50% coverage (in-network) 40% (out-of-network) and under the Plus plan offer 60% (in-network) 40% (out-of-network).
Is Orthodontia covered under the MetLife plan?
No coverage is available for orthodontic services in the Dental Basic Plan. In order to obtain orthodontic coverage, you must enroll in the Dental Plus Plan. The Dental Plus Plan provides 60% coverage for In-Network orthodontia services after deductible, up to a $3,000 lifetime maximum and provides 40% coverage for Out-of-Network orthodontia services after deductible, up to a $1,500 lifetime maximum.

- Returned user - login with your UserName and Password
- First time user - follow the step below:
- Enter CITGO Petroleum Corporation in the company name textbox
- Click the Submit button.
- Click on the Register button (located on the right hand side of the screen)
- Complete all of the required fields:
enter personal information, create username and password, set up security questions and accept terms of use agreement.
- Click Register to complete your registration.
To Print ID cards:
